Welcome to my website (9/12/16).  I plan to post all my political writing as wells as other musings about music, popular culture, whatever.

If you just tuned in, I’m a retired technologist — a computer scientist best known as one of the executive founders of Cisco Systems.  For the last 16 years I have written a political column — primarily on national politics — that appears in THE BERKELEY DAILY PLANET, HUFFINGTON POST, DAILY KOS, and other sites.

I’m 75, happily married with 6 children, 5 grandchildren, and a wonderful extended family.  If you read my posts, you’ll gather I’m a west-coast liberal with particular concern for economic justice and environmental sanity.
